Who We Are

SCA Coach is a premium feedback and coaching service for UK GP trainees preparing for the MRCGP Simulated Consultation Assessment (SCA). SCA Coach is a service provided by 2061Health Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, 2061Health Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:

  • Name — used to personalise your feedback and correspondence
  • Email address — used to deliver your feedback, send order confirmations, and share service updates
  • Telephone number — used only if we need to contact you about your order or coaching sessions
  • Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store card details on our systems
  • Consultation recordings or transcripts — submitted by you for feedback purposes (see below)

About the Practice Cases and Recordings

All practice cases used in the SCA Coach service are entirely fictional. They are created specifically for educational purposes and do not represent real patients, real clinical scenarios, or real identifiable individuals.

When you submit an audio recording or transcript of a practice consultation, you are responsible for ensuring it contains no real patient data. Our service is designed exclusively for use with fictional practice cases.

Recordings and transcripts submitted for feedback are used solely to generate your written feedback. They are not shared with third parties, not used for training purposes, and deleted within 30 days of your feedback being delivered.

How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Deliver the feedback and coaching services you have purchased
  • Personalise your feedback with your name
  • Communicate with you about your order, including sending your completed feedback
  • Respond to queries or support requests
  • Send occasional service updates or information about new products (you can opt out at any time)
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — processing your name, email, and telephone number is necessary to deliver the service you have purchased
  • Legitimate interests — to manage and improve our service, and to communicate with existing customers about relevant updates
  • Consent — for any optional marketing communications; you may withdraw consent at any time

How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your personal data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

We retain your contact details (name, email, and telephone) for as long as you remain a customer and for up to 2 years thereafter, unless you request deletion earlier. Consultation recordings and transcripts are deleted within 30 days of feedback delivery.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Payment processors — to securely handle transactions (e.g. Stripe); these providers operate under their own privacy policies and are GDPR-compliant
  • Legal requirements — if required to do so by law or a competent authority

We do not transfer your data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (the “right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention obligations
  • Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
